WELCOME TO THE EUROPEAN FEDERATION OF KRAV MAGA

The FEKM head office is in Paris and was established in 1997, growing over the last two decades into an organisation with over 20000 members throughout the world. The UK sector was incorporated in 2015 and our focus is on supporting the students that are currently part of the federation by providing National Courses and Gradings as well as ensuring that instructors get the support they need to be able to develop and grow their clubs.

Become affiliated to the FEKM-UK as an existing club. Demonstrate knowledge and technical understanding of the FEKM syllabus and teaching method and become part of an international organisation with a high reputation.

Krav Maga literally means “Combat – Contact” or “Close Quarter Combat”. The roots of modern Krav maga began in Czechoslovakia in the 1930’s with Imi Lichtenfeld, an expert in boxing and wrestling. He was influenced by his father, Shmuel, a detective and Defensive Tactics instructor with the local police force.…
