The largest Krav Maga organisation in the world is the FEKM (Fédération Européene de Krav Maga), and it’s success is founded on the technical ability and collegial attitude of it’s founder Richard Douieb.
Theirs is the model we seek to emulate, where all have a voice yet are bound to adhere to a set of both technical and moral principles which helps the entire organisation to develop, with each club and each individual growing within it.
In order to remain in line with the FEKM, the FEKM-UK aims to ensure that as it expands, and students begin to teach within their parent club and eventually branch out to found their own clubs, we all remain in close contact with the FEKM. We will do this by constant referral to our own instructors in Paris who teach and challenge us and avail us of the evolution of Krav Maga.
All members of the FEKM-UK are required to abide by the code of ethics of the FEKM and therefore undertake to be:
Besides this, to use the techniques of Krav Maga exclusively during classes or for the purpose of defending our physical integrity or that of those near to us and to help develop a climate of friendship and simplicity.
